Suzanne Reh-Faraca, "Captured" Portraits in Pencil, is a self-taught artist born in Michigan in 1956 and starting drawing at the time she could hold a pencil. She has donated artwork for annual silent auctions to the German Shepherd of America Rescue Asociation and her artwork has been used as a logo for the American German Shepherd Charitable Foundation. She specializes in dog and animal portraits in pencil from photos, but has begun to "dabble" in wildlife. Living in northern Idaho has inspired her to portray the many varieties of wildlife there.
