NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE *************************
Spokane’s only professional ballet company, Ballet Spokane, under the direction of Janet Wilder, will be performing on February 19th at Interplayers for Page Ahead, an organization whose purpose is to promote literacy by providing books for at-risk children and their families. Spokane’s First Lady, Jane Hession, will emcee the event. Admission to the performance is a new children’s book per patron or $5.00. The books will then be distributed to area children. A silent auction as well as a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will also be included at this event. Interplayers, which is a professional theatre celebrating its 25th anniversary season and is on the State and National Historic Register, has generously donated the theatre for this event. Showtime is at 7:00pm at Interplayers Theater, 174 S. Howard Street. Tickets are available through Page Ahead.
