The Play Spokane Interplayers Theatre is pleased to announce the next production, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, written by Neil Simon, playing April 27 – May 20 (no evening performance during the Lilac Parade May 20th,. Max Prince is a TV comedian under pressure. The network wants to cut his show, his gag writers want to keep their jobs. Max just wants to keep sane. Each week, a team of neurotic, egocentric scriptwriters, equipped with their armory of gags and one-liners, battle against all odds to produce television’s funniest variety show.
The Cast Directed by Andrew Ware Lewis. We are delighted to include some past Interplayers actors in this cast, including William C. Marlowe (Max) and Gary Pierce (Kenny), both returning to the Interplayers stage for the first time in seven years. Other cast members include Stephanie Brush (Carol) and Tom Heppler (Kenny) with Ron Ford (Val), Chad Herrmann (Lucas), Chasity Kohlman (Helen), Todd Jasmin (Brian), and Tim Diamond (Milt) making their debut performances on the Interplayers stage.
Tickets Laughter on the 23rd Floor plays April 27 – May 20 (no evening performance during the Lilac Parade May 20th, just the matinee). Wednesday and Thursday evening curtain is at 7:30 p.m. with 8:00 p.m. curtain on Friday and Saturday evenings, and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. in the historic Interplayers Theatre, 174 S. Howard Street, in downtown Spokane’s Davenport Arts District. Purchase tickets by calling (509) 455-PLAY (7529), online at www.interplayers.com, or by visiting the theatre Box Office which is open Wednesday through Saturday noon to 5:00 p.m. and one hour before curtain. Ticket prices range from $10-$20. $10 Lunch Hour Hottix! are available for purchase at the Box Office between noon and 1 p.m. Wednesday or Thursday for that same night’s production.
