Auditions begin at 7PM; No appointment necessary

ALL ACTORS ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION

Be prepared to offer two contrasting monologues.

One minute in total.

Dual scenes (two actors) also encouraged.

You may be asked to cold read from a play.

Together Again for the Next Time

  • show is tentatively cast

October

The 39 Steps

  • 1 Man, handsome, wry, 30's leading man
  • 1 Woman, 20's to 30's, to play multiple roles
  • 2 Men, indeterminate age, clowns, playing more than 100 roles

November – December

Honky Tonk Angels Holiday Spectacular

  • African American woman, 30's or younger, strong vocalist

January – February 2011

Opus

  • 4 men, 40's or older, to play string quartet
  • 1 woman, 20's – 30's, musically savvy, to play violinist

February – March

Privilege

  • Teen boys to play brothers of 12 and 16
  •  One man, late 30's to 40's
  • Two woman, one 30's to 40's, the other slightly younger

April

Cotton Patch Gospel

  • Bluegrass players of either sex encouraged to audition
  • Show has flexible casting and will be determined by talent
  • Country folk singing appropriate

May

The Miracle Worker

  • This show will audition separately in September
  • All roles open

   Actors wishing to audition should prepare a 1-minute monologue of any kind, with a second contrasting piece of comparable length they may or may not be asked to perform. They may additionally be required to read from the plays.

   Performers will be paid for rehearsals and performances. Cast must be available for all performances; please do not audition for a show with which you may have a calendar conflict.
